Bags and Bourbon Benefit
Auction Bigger and Better

Mary Sadovszky knows a great handbag when she sees one.  For the last seven years, she and Terri Circeo have co-chaired CancerLINC's signature fundraiser, Bags and Bourbon, formerly It's in the Bag.  She and a team of extraordinary volunteers are putting the final touches on the popular live and silent handbag auction, which will be held on March 21 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at The Westin Richmond.  Tickets are already on sale, and the early bird specials ends on Feb. 1.  Read Full Story

CancerLINC Receives Donation
from Sedona Taphouse

CancerLINC is the grateful recipient of a $2,076 check from Sedona Taphouse in Midlothian.  The restaurant sponsors a monthly fundraiser for charity organizations called Steak Out For Charity.  In October, Sedona Taphouse held a fundraiser for CancerLINC.  Each Monday during October, Sedona Taphouse donated $1 from the sales of steak and salmon specials to CancerLINC."  We are grateful for Sedona selecting us as one of their charity partners, and for all the CancerLINC supporters and patrons who came out to eat each Monday night in October," said CancerLINC Executive Chris Williams."  We thank them for giving back to our community."  CancerLINC will again partner with the restaurant this coming September, so put Sedona Taphouse on your calendar, and help CancerLINC support cancer patients with legal and financial challenges.

CancerLINC is Accredited by the BBB

Knowing that your donations are being used with care is important to every donor.  That is why CancerLINC is proud of its recent designation as a Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity.  To become accredited, CancerLINC had to meet all 20 standards for charity accountability.  "Having this designation shows that CancerLINC values the efforts of its donors and supporters, and that we use their contributions wisely to better the lives of cancer patients who are facing legal and financial challenges," said CancerLINC Executive Director Chris Williams.  Read Full Report
